USAID begins warping up its support to the development of agriculture in Bosnia and Herzegovina; remains a partner to local institution and the EU in future endeavors.

BANJA LUKA, April 20, 2021 – On Wednesday, April 21, USAID Mission Director to Bosnia and Herzegovina Nancy J. Eslick, will visit the Happy Farm owned by Vinka Savić from Verići Village, to attend the presentation of one of the last agriculture development grants implemented by Sweden/USAID FARMA II project.

The grant was used to purchase a modern hoof trimming stall that will serve more than 450 members of the RS Association of Agricultural Producers – Dairy Farmers (RS DFA), including Ms. Savić, and will enable them to increase their annual production of milk by 5 percent or 1.85 million liters.

The event will be attended by the RS Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Boris Pašalić, and the President of the RS DFA, Vladimir Usorac, who will speak to the media along with Ms. Eslick and Ms. Savić.
